Callis comes to the cage accompanied by Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll. Reed has chosen Reverend And The Makers - Heavyweight Champion Of The World as his entrance music. Eric Ernest Callis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jebediah Reed's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Jebediah Reed!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed misses the jab.
Reed is looking to clinch but Callis is avoiding it.
Callis throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Callis.
Callis misses with a wild body shot.
Callis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Reed shoots in and drives through. Callis sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Reed or perhaps it was just good defense by Callis which made him look bad.
Callis circles away from the clinch attempt.

Callis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reed to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Reed drops back looking for a leg! Callis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Callis manages to kick Reed off! Reed jumps back into Callis's guard.
Callis is pulling down on Reed's head. It's preventing any offense from Reed, at least for the moment.

Reed is pushing down on Callis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Callis is fighting to maintain full guard but Reed has managed to sneak the leg through.
Reed working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reed in particular looking to stall.
Reed winds up and cracks Callis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Callis moves into full guard.

Reed slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Reed lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Reed tries to free his leg and advance position but Callis is retaining full guard.

Reed wants to control from the top but Callis keeps moving.
Reed slips nicely into half guard.
Reed is looking to advance position but Callis won't allow it.

Reed wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Callis, who protects the arm well.

Reed is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Callis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Reed content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Callis is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Reed looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reed is working Callis over with some ground and pound from side control.

Reed drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reed goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Callis has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Reed but great work by Callis.
Jebediah Reed has got the better of the ground game so far.

Reed is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Reed sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Callis prevents Reed from improving his position.
Reed is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Callis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Callis's back!

Reed patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Reed looking to break Callis's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Callis remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Reed will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Reed working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Callis is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Reed has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Callis taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jebediah Reed!
An out of breath Jebediah Reed thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
