The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silvia closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silvia drops an elbow to the side of O Hallorhan's head.
O Hallorhan wants to get back to his feet.
Silvia tries to pass the half guard into mount. O Hallorhan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
O Hallorhan is looking to escape.
O Hallorhan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silvia.

Silvia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks O Hallorhan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Silvia seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Silvia throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Silvia looks to land a strike but O Hallorhan avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Silvia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with O Hallorhan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silvia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Silvia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
O Hallorhan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

O Hallorhan pushes Silvia off and scrambles back to his feet.
Silvia checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Silvia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts O Hallorhan as he jumps to the side.
O Hallorhan closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Thiago Silvia has been cut.
O Hallorhan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
O Hallorhan scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silvia is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Silvia cracks O Hallorhan with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
