Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pasi Palander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finley Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finley Shamrock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Palander.
Pasi Palander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Palander counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shamrock darts in trying to clinch
and Palander counters with a left and a right that stings Shamrock.
Palander scores with a jab to the body.
Shamrock closes the distance looking to clinch
and Palander counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shamrock looks winded!
Palander lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice body punch from Palander.
Palander throws a shot to the body.
Palander sends Shamrock crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Palander is motioning to the referee to let Shamrock up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Finley Shamrock has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Palander connects with a stiff jab that staggers Shamrock - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
