Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jefferson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Force Your Way. Smith is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Grand Magus - Hammer of the North. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Jefferson moves away from the strike by Smith.
Jefferson shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jab, jab by Jefferson - just one landing.
Smith looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jefferson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jefferson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jefferson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jefferson.

Smith throws a hook to the side of Jefferson's head but Jefferson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jefferson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smith.
Jefferson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smith finds it's way round the side to connect with Jefferson's head.
Smith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Smith moves away from the strike by Jefferson.
Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Smith takes a swing at Jefferson's ribcage but misses.

Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Jefferson is just out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jefferson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Smith throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jefferson shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Jefferson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Smith counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
