Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Jaatinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Cant Be Stopped by Roy Jones Jr.. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leif Jaatinen!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed shoots in and drives through. Jaatinen sprawls well.
Reed tries for a takedown but Jaatinen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Reed counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jaatinen's guard now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Reed missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Reed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jaatinen is keeping the position for now.

Reed misses with a takedown attempt - Jaatinen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaatinen sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Reed here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Reed shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaatinen tries to sprawl out of it but Reed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaatinen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nathan Reed will probably get the nod.

Reed throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jaatinen because Reed loaded up on that one.
Reed throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Reed sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Reed lands a big shot there that rocks Jaatinen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Reed lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


Jaatinen is rocked!
A big strike lands for Reed! That's really hurt Jaatinen and he's turned his back - Reed keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Reed Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Reed!
