The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton moves out of range as Loveladdy throws a body kick.
Loveladdy stuffs the takedown.
Loveladdy misses with a body kick.
Loveladdy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Loveladdy tries to work over Benton's front leg with a kick but Benton checks it.
Benton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Loveladdy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Benton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loveladdy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Loveladdy stops Benton from passing to mount.
Benton tries for a kimura but Loveladdy is defending well.
Benton has hold of Loveladdy's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Loveladdy tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Benton cranks the arm and Loveladdy screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Loveladdy, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
