Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Toyol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Saoud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saoud throws a nice inside leg kick.
Saoud is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Saoud throws an overhand right that lands on Toyol's shoulder, as Toyol tries to avoid the shot.
Saoud throws a series of punches but Toyol avoids them all with ease.
Toyol closes the distance and pushes Saoud back into the cage.
Toyol drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Toyol goes for a takedown attempt but Saoud pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Saoud closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Toyol quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Toyol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saoud gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Saoud decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Toyol, up you get!
Saoud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Saoud showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
