The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glaz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Glaz scoring with punches and elbows.
Peppard is trying to improve his position.
Glaz looks up at the clock and then as Peppard takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Glaz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Glaz is looking to take a break and control but Peppard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Peppard wants to control but Glaz postures up.
Glaz is trying to get an arm triangle but Peppard is defending well.

Glaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peppard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Glaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Peppard's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glaz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Glaz is working for a guillotine from mount but Peppard frees his head quite easily.
