Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Livington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chandler comes to the cage accompanied by Mohombi - Bumpy Ride. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonio Livington!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chandler drives through with a takedown into Livington's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Livington avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chandler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Livington is keeping the position for now.
Chandler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Livington's guard.
Livington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chandler lands a nice short elbow.

Chandler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Chandler looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Livington is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chandler pulls his head out easily.

Livington tries to get to full guard but Chandler has control of the leg.
Livington trying to control but Chandler postures up.
Chandler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Chandler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Livington sees it coming and defends easily.

Chandler is working for a kimura but Livington is defending it quite comfortably.

Livington looking for submissions off his back.
Chandler is taking a breather. Livington says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chandler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Livington with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Chandler dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Chandler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Livington wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chandler has him pressed against the cage.
Livington wants to get back to striking at distance but Chandler won't allow it.

Chandler jumps into guard, dragging Livington to the mat.
Chandler wants to stand but Livington is controlling the position.
Chandler pulls Livington in to control the position.

Livington postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chandler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Livington, into his guard.

Chandler tries to free his leg and advance position but Livington is retaining full guard.
Chandler passes Livington's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Livington is looking for a sweep. Chandler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chandler has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Livington swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Livington is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chandler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Chandler avoids the attempt from Livington to control.

Livington manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Chandler drops an elbow to the side of Livington's head.
Livington on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Chandler prevents Livington from improving his position.
Livington is pressing down on Chandler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Chandler distracts Livington with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Livington is trying to keep Chandler in close.
James Chandler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chandler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Livington is working to avoid the ground and pound but Chandler connects with a decent elbow.

Chandler looks up at the clock and then as Livington takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chandler smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Chandler is working Livington over with some ground and pound from side control.
Chandler lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Livington down.
Livington trying to remain calm as Chandler controls from the top position.
Chandler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chandler looks up at the clock and then as Livington takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chandler smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Chandler content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Antonio Livington has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Livington is looking to reverse the position.
The referee asks Chandler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chandler prefers to stall for the moment though.

Chandler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Livington has escaped the position, nice work there.

James Chandler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of James Chandler.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chandler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
