Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chan Wook Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, No Chance! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chance throws a head kick that misses. Chance swinging wildly here.
No Chance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker avoids the head kick by Chance.
Chance drives through with a takedown into Parker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Chance wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving. Parker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Parker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chance looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well. Chance throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chance in his tracks. A shot to the liver by Parker. Beautiful body shot. That kick from Parker tenderised Chance's leg. Chance is trying to keep his angry face on. Chance jabbing away but nothing is landing. Parker scores with a jab to the jaw. Chance misses with a takedown and Parker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Chan Wook Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of No Chance. Chance takes one to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chance shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chance misses with a leg kick and Parker counters with a two punch combo.
