The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganjafarmer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McCarthy looks to land a combination but Ganjafarmer avoids it well.

McCarthy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ganjafarmer to the mat! Ganjafarmer manages to get full guard.

McCarthy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McCarthy is looking for a kimura but Ganjafarmer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McCarthy to get the leverage.

McCarthy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ganjafarmer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
