The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ghencik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cylo, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Ghencik to work.

Ghencik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ghencik fails to land the takedown.
Cylo misses with a looping right.

Ghencik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ghencik takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ghena Ghencik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cylo slips a jab and a cross from Ghencik.

Ghencik lands a jab to Cylo's midsection.

Ghencik gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ghencik jumps guard and drags Cylo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ghencik throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Ghencik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ghena Ghencik wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Cylo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ghencik.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghena Ghencik. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ghencik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ghencik seems to have got his legs back now.
Ghencik misses with a jab to the body
and Cylo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ghencik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cylo.
Cylo stuffs the takedown.
Ghencik is breathing heavily.
Ghencik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cylo throws out the jab.

Oooooh!!! Cylo has knocked Ghencik down with a huge combo! Cylo steps away and waves a wobbly Ghencik back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cylo pounces like a tiger and cracks Ghencik with a vicious hook! Ghencik is down but not out! Cylo follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
