The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessier drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Escobar is looking to clinch but Tessier is avoiding it.
Tessier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Escobar tries to move into range but Tessier moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Escobar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Escobar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tessier.
Tessier darts in trying to clinch
and Escobar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Escobar misses the shot to the body.
Escobar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Escobar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Tessier uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Escobar.
A combination from Escobar does no damage.
Escobar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tessier staying out of range there.
Tessier throws a leg kick but Escobar checks it.
Escobar lands a right hook to the body.

Escobar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Tessier. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tessier.
Escobar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Escobar wants to clinch but Tessier slips to the side

and Tessier counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tessier.
Escobar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tessier pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Escobar's corner calls for a 1-2. Escobar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Escobar connects with a single shot there.
Escobar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice jab there from Tessier.
Tessier scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Escobar doesn't seem bothered though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tessier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Escobar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Escobar tries to close the distance and clinch but Tessier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tessier digs a good hook to Escobar's body.

Escobar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Escobar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tessier.
Escobar doesn't manage to clinch there - Tessier circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Escobar. Those never looked like landing.
Tessier misses with a body kick.
Tessier catches Escobar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Tessier counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Escobar off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Tessier follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Escobar was out before he hit the floor.

Cole Tessier really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that TFP Graphics - Pit Inc logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
