Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axl Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axl Steele is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Ring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Axl Steele!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ring lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Axl Steele has been cut.
Ring avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Axl Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Ring as he connects with a hook.
Ring throws a hook but Steele avoids it easily.
Steele looks to land a body kick but Ring moved away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Steele drives through with a takedown into Ring's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ring goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Steele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ring fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Steele on the side of the head.

Ring has managed to clinch.
Ring scores with a hook to the body.
A short right from Ring on the inside.
Ring wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ring lands with a short shot to the head.
Ring lands a left hand.
Ring is leaning against Steele and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Ring is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Ring tries to stall but Steele uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Steele has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steele takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ring clinches with his opponent.
Ring lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steele backwards.
Steele is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ring gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ring lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Ring dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Axl Steele's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Ring connects with the punch.
Some bone on bone action there as Ring checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Steele has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ring finds it's way round the side to connect with Steele's head.
Ring throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ring is looking to wear down Steele with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Steele throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ring's waist but Ring gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steele off to one side.
Steele misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown by Steele or perhaps it was just good defense by Ring which made him look bad.
Ring lands a right hook to the body.
Josh Ring is winning the standup battle so far.
Steele ducks right into an uppercut from Ring.
Ring lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
A left and a right from Ring both land. Nice combination.

Steele is breathing heavily.
Steele is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ring ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ring is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Steele can do to turn this around?

Steele moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Ring connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Steele to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Ring!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Josh Ring!
A relieved looking Josh Ring thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
