Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Bhurdon!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henson clinches with his opponent.
Henson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henson tries for a takedown but Bhurdon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bhurdon tries to score with a low kick but Henson moves his leg out of the way.
Henson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Henson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bhurdon misses with a series of wild punches.
Bhurdon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Martin Bhurdon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henson dives in and grabs Bhurdon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bhurdon pushes down on Henson's head and hops out.
Bhurdon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Henson's head.
Bhurdon tries to clinch up.
Henson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Herp Henson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Henson throws a wild hook but Bhurdon just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Henson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Bhurdon raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Bhurdon!
