Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rasheed Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eikichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willis comes to the cage accompanied by Kendrick Lamar - HiiiPower. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rasheed Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eikichi Onizuka!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Willis cracks a nice hook into Onizuka's ribs.
Onizuka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Willis.
Willis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Willis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Onizuka fails to land with a series of punches.

Onizuka looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Willis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Onizuka is looking to work some ground and pound but Willis has wrist control.
Onizuka keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Willis's head.

Willis is fighting to break Onizuka's control of his arms but Onizuka is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Willis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Onizuka was well out of range. Poor timing from Willis.

The crowd cheers as Onizuka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Willis doesn't seem phased though.

Eikichi Onizuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Onizuka throws a lazy right hand but Willis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Willis moves forwards but Onizuka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Onizuka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Willis throws a nice looking combination but Onizuka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A right-left combo lands from Onizuka.
Willis tests Onizuka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Onizuka shoots for a takedown but Willis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Willis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Willis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Onizuka swivels and escapes.

Willis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Onizuka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Willis not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Willis is looking to take a break and control but Onizuka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Willis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Willis is looking to stall here but Onizuka recovers full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Willis wants to pass the guard but Onizuka is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rasheed Willis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Willis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Willis wants it to stay on the feet.
The fighters circling - Onizuka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Willis scores with a nice head shot.

Willis tries to sprawl but Onizuka drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Willis wants to control but Onizuka is keeping busy.

Willis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Willis.
Onizuka working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Onizuka is in close to Willis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Willis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Onizuka scoring with some ground and pound.
Willis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Willis is looking for a triangle but Onizuka pushes his legs off easily.
Onizuka cracks Willis with a solid left hand.

Onizuka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Onizuka postures up in Willis's guard and throws a big left but Willis blocks it.

Willis has his feet on Onizuka's thighs here. He's pushed Onizuka off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Onizuka screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Our winner, Rasheed Willis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
