Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Von Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Safdar Al Razi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Safdar Al Razi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Von Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Safdar Al Razi! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Hammer.
Hammer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Al Razi slips a jab and a cross from Hammer.
Hammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hammer takes a swing at Al Razi's ribcage but misses. Hammer misses with a body shot.

and Al Razi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hammer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Al Razi has him pressed against the cage. Hammer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Al Razi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Al Razi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Al Razi is working for a kimura but Hammer is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Razi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well. Al Razi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Al Razi passes to side control. Al Razi tries for a kimura but Hammer is defending well. Hammer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hammer tries to get out of the position. Al Razi is trying to get an arm triangle but Hammer is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Razi tries for a kimura but Hammer is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Al Razi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hammer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Al Razi swings around for an armbar but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Al Razi's guard. Al Razi is looking for a triangle but Hammer pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Al Razi has his foot on Hammer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammer works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hammer is sitting in close to Al Razi's body. Al Razi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hammer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hammer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Al Razi.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Safdar Al Razi!
