Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Rackham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harley Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Dead Brothers - Old Pine Box. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Rackham.
Rackham moves out of range of the body kick from Crowe.

Rackham clinches up against the cage.
Crowe avoids a wild elbow strike from Rackham.
Crowe blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rackham looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Crowe decides to pull guard.

Rackham decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Crowe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rackham counters with a right hand to the body.
Crowe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rackham throws an elbow but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rackham just misses with a elbow thrown towards Crowe's brow.
Crowe throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Crowe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rackham smiles and moves away.
Crowe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rackham bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Crowe's head backwards.
Rackham connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rackham looks to score with a jab to the body but Crowe is just out of range.
Rackham throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rackham tries to clinch but Crowe moves out of range.

Crowe tries to land a leg kick but Rackham saw it coming and moves away.

Crowe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rackham sprawls well initially but Crowe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Crowe wants to work for an arm triangle but Rackham is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Crowe uses his free foot to push down on Rackham's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rackham.

Crowe goes for an armbar but Rackham turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rackham.
Rackham has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rackham is fighting to break Crowe's control of his arms but Crowe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Rackham wants to stand but Crowe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Crowe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rackham!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crowe has hold of Rackham's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rackham manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Rackham is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Crowe has taken his back.

Crowe is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rackham with him. Rackham is trying to defend but Crowe has an arm under the chin now! Rackham grimaces and is forced to tap out!

After the fight, Harley Crowe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
