And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeric is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jeric throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jeric moves out of range of the strikes.
Jeric looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Jeric is out of range.
Jeric uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Jeric takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smith with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jeric tries to clinch up.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jeric.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jeric stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jeric bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith throws a right hand that misses
and Jeric cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smith lands a big uppercut and Jeric crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jeric looks OK. Smith waves Jeric back to his feet!
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Jeric ducks down to avoid it.
Jeric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Jeric.
Jeric throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jeric looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Smith cracks Jeric with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jeric looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?

Jeric is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jeric switches off momentarily and Smith cracks him with a monster right hand! Jeric topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Smith dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Smith!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Larry Smith!
