Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Eberhart!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eberhart slips under a jab from Flodder.
Flodder throws a combination that misses

and Eberhart counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flodder trying to hold on to Eberhart's head to control him but Eberhart postures up.
Flodder slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Eberhart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Eberhart trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Flodder is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Flodder is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Flodder is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Flodder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eberhart on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eberhart is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Flodder pulls his head out easily.
Flodder seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eberhart does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kees Flodder.

and Eberhart counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Eberhart slips a jab and a cross from Flodder.
The fighters circle momentarily. Flodder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Eberhart is defended easily by Flodder.
Flodder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eberhart circles away quickly and effectively.

Flodder keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A big right from Flodder misses.
Flodder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flodder throws a right and a left that both miss.
Flodder swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Eberhart counters with a two punch combo.
Eberhart keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Eberhart.
Kees Flodder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Eberhart.
Flodder swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Eberhart counters with a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eberhart dives in and grabs Flodder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flodder pushes down on Eberhart's head and hops out.

Eberhart fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Flodder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Flodder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Flodder fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A nice combination there by Flodder.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kees Flodder dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Eberhart fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Flodder avoids it really well and circles away.
A combination from Flodder does no damage.
Flodder swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Eberhart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Flodder!
Flodder blocking the ground and pound.
Eberhart cracks Flodder with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Eberhart looking for a guillotine from mount but Flodder is having none of it.
Flodder is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Eberhart fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Flodder is rocked!

Eberhart looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Oh Flodder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flodder is trying to escape the mount.
Eberhart is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Flodder can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Eberhart scoring with strikes but Flodder is staying in there.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Eberhart! Flodder is hurt baaadly! Eberhart is firing away with more strikes - Flodder is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
