Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Tsosie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Garboza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Connor Tsosie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Garboza! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsosie throws a head kick that misses. Garboza throws a nice outside leg kick. Garboza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tsosie misses with a straight left. Tsosie connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garboza. Garboza circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tsosie finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Garboza pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Tsosie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Garboza defends it nicely. Garboza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Garboza delivers a nice body kick. Garboza misses with a low kick as Tsosie jumps back. Garboza lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsosie blocks the body kick.

Tsosie throws a hook but Garboza blocks it. Garboza pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tsosie is out of range and Garboza settles back down. Garboza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tsosie. Tsosie throws a jab when Garboza was well out of range. Tsosie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Garboza checks the leg kick nicely there.
Garboza shoots in for a double leg but Tsosie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Garboza looks for the body kick but Tsosie saw that one coming. Garboza is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tsosie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Garboza thumps Tsosie with a low kick. Garboza looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Tsosie misses. Tsosie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Garboza sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jose Garboza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick from Garboza misses. Tsosie cracks Garboza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A thudding body kick lands there by Garboza!
Garboza throws a low kick but Tsosie avoids it. Garboza thows a body shot but no joy. Tsosie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Garboza tries to land a front kick but Tsosie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Garboza is looking to slow Tsosie down with leg kicks. Tsosie throws a series of punches but Garboza moves out of range. Garboza misses with a wild body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tsosie lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsosie connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Tsosie throws out a leg kick but Garboza moves out of range and Tsosie only half commits. Garboza throws a lazy body kick letting Tsosie counter with a right hand. Tsosie moves into the clinch. Tsosie is looking to break free of the clinch but Garboza has double underhooks. Tsosie lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Tsosie has had enough of the clinch but Garboza keeps him there for the moment. Tsosie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Garboza keeps control of Tsosie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tsosie takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsosie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Garboza has him pressed against the cage. Garboza prevents Tsosie from breaking the clinch. Tsosie scores with an uppercut up the middle. Tsosie scores with a hook to the body. Tsosie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tsosie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Tsosie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Garboza manages to get himself to full guard.
Tsosie stands and throws Garboza's legs to the side, diving into side control. Garboza is not content to let Tsosie control the position.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Tsosie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tsosie moves into full mount! Tsosie with the ground and pound from mount. Tsosie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garboza can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Tsosie controlling the position easily from mount. Tsosie throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tsosie with the ground and pound from mount. Tsosie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Garboza is looking to escape. Tsosie lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Garboza hang on?
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Tsosie landing strikes, looking to finish! Tsosie throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Garboza has his hands clasped together but Tsosie breaks the hold and Garboza is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Tsosie!
