Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Rebrovski!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rebrovski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Rebrovski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mykhaylenko manages to get to full guard.

Rebrovski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rebrovski showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rebrovski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mykhaylenko's waist but Mykhaylenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rebrovski off to one side.

Rebrovski gets tackled into the cage by Mykhaylenko. Mykhaylenko maintains the clinch.
Rebrovski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mykhaylenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jos Mykhaylenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Rebrovski.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Rebrovski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mykhaylenko after a bit of a struggle.

Rebrovski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mykhaylenko dives in and grabs Rebrovski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rebrovski pushes down on Mykhaylenko's head and hops out.

Jos Mykhaylenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mykhaylenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rebrovski has time to react.


Rebrovski is rocked!
Mykhaylenko lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Rebrovski - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Mykhaylenko!
