Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Redcliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rome Raziir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Redcliff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rome Raziir!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redcliff gets a clinch.
Redcliff is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Raziir gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Raziir jumps guard but Redcliff stands there with Raziir around his waist. Raziir gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Redcliff gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Raziir.
Redcliff gets through Raziir's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Raziir can't find room to land a body shot as Redcliff controls the action.
Raziir gets control of Redcliff's arms and successfully pulls guard. Raziir will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Raziir tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Redcliff drops back looking for a leg! Raziir is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Raziir manages to kick Redcliff off! Redcliff jumps back into Raziir's guard.
Raziir is trying to keep Redcliff in close.
Redcliff wants to stand but Raziir has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Redcliff tries to free his leg and advance position but Raziir is retaining full guard.
Raziir has his foot on Redcliff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Redcliff works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redcliff passes the guard and advances to mount!
Redcliff thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Raziir has given up his back here. Will Redcliff look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Redcliff gets his hands free as Raziir looks to control.
You can see the frustration on Raziir's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Redcliff trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Redcliff keeps control of the position as Raziir tries to break free.
Redcliff looking to break Raziir's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Raziir remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Redcliff will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Will Redcliff go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Redcliff has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Raziir has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Raziir trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Redcliff is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Raziir has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Redcliff has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Raziir taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Redcliff doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gary Redcliff!
