Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Raine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ejay Shazad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Twisted Nerve .. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shazad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shazad misses with an uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from Shazad. No joy for Raine on that attempt.

Raine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shazad did well to prevent Raine getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Shazad is refusing to be controlled, as Raine sits in half guard.
Shazad is looking for a sweep. Raine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Shazad tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Raine manages to move to mount!

Raine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Raine dives in and grabs Shazad's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shazad pushes down on Raine's head and hops out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shazad throws a sloppy head kick and Raine moves out of range easily.
Raine misses with a body shot.
Horrible takedown by Raine or perhaps it was just good defense by Shazad which made him look bad.

Shazad looks to land a left hand but Raine moved out of range nicely.

Raine misses with a few strikes there.
Raine tries to clinch but Shazad is having none of it.

Raine takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Raine ducks under a wild hook from Shazad.
Shazad waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Raine.
Raine drops Shazad with a beautiful combination! Shazad stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Raine is looking for the KO!
Shazad is rocked!
It looks like Ejay Shazad has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Raine slips a jab from Shazad.
Shazad is still on wobbly legs! Can Raine finish him?
Raine cracks Shazad with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Shazad falls to his knees and Raine doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aldo Raine!
Aldo Raine spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
