Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emilo Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Von Erich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavez's entrance music is Slipknot---Psychosocial. A fine choice. Von Erich has chosen I always feel like somebody is watching me as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chavez clinches up with Von Erich and pushes him back against the cage.
Chavez lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Von Erich or not.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Von Erich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Von Erich is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
