Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silva Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Sampaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Silva comes to the cage accompanied by The Ken Song. Silva Da Silva has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampaio throws a series of punches but Da Silva moves out of range.
Sampaio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Da Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sampaio avoids it really well and circles away.

Da Silva tries for a takedown but Sampaio sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silva Da Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Da Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sampaio is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sampaio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sampaio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sampaio slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Da Silva has his feet on Sampaio's thighs here. He's pushed Sampaio off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sampaio screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
