Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert Einstein !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Shiva Red Gym!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Einstein changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Red Gym looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Einstein cracks Red Gym with a big elbow.
Red Gym tries to buck Einstein off but Einstein is having none of it.
Einstein misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Red Gym parries the strikes from Einstein easily there. Einstein is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Red Gym to escape.
Einstein tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Red Gym can't do much from the bottom here.
Red Gym is trying to improve his position.
Red Gym gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Einstein throwing shots but Red Gym is blocking nicely.

Einstein moves into full mount! Red Gym won't be happy about that!

Einstein is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Red Gym is controlling him.
Red Gym wants to stand but Einstein is controlling his posture from full guard.

Red Gym really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Einstein . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Einstein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Red Gym is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Shiva Red Gym wasn't active enough on the ground.
Einstein throws a hook but Red Gym avoids it easily.
Red Gym uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Einstein .
Red Gym blocks a jab.
Shiva Red Gym is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Einstein jabs Red Gym right on the nose. Red Gym blinks but takes it well.
Einstein throws a head kick but Red Gym moves out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Red Gym looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Einstein shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Red Gym is still on wobbly legs! Can Einstein finish him?

Einstein breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Einstein ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Red Gym is breathing heavily.
Einstein lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Red Gym - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Einstein !

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Albert Einstein !
An out of breath Albert Einstein thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
