Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Grossenbacher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mehmet Goren! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossenbacher gets a double leg takedown into Goren's guard. Goren wants to sweep here but Grossenbacher controlling him for the moment. Goren trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grossenbacher engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goren wants to sweep here but Grossenbacher controlling him for the moment.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Nick Grossenbacher just wasn't active enough. Goren lunges at Grossenbacher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Grossenbacher's hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Grossenbacher misses with a hook. Goren tries to clinch
so Grossenbacher counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Grossenbacher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goren swivels though and keeps the full guard. Grossenbacher controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Grossenbacher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Goren is keeping the position for now. Grossenbacher is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Nick Grossenbacher just wasn't active enough. Grossenbacher plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Mehmet Goren has been cut.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grossenbacher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Grossenbacher seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Grossenbacher postures up.
Grossenbacher forces his way into half guard. Grossenbacher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Grossenbacher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grossenbacher looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Goren trying to hold on to Grossenbacher's head to control him but Grossenbacher postures up.
Grossenbacher perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Grossenbacher frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Grossenbacher controlling the position easily from mount. Goren is just holding on here. Grossenbacher manages to take his back.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Grossenbacher lands shots from the back. Grossenbacher keeps control of the position as Goren tries to break free.
Goren looks winded! Grossenbacher really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Goren.
Grossenbacher is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Goren with him. Goren is trying to defend but Grossenbacher has an arm under the chin now! Goren grimaces and is forced to tap out!
