Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Paavali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and arthur spankalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that arthur spankalot was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pertti Paavali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, arthur spankalot!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big head kick from Paavali and spankalot is sent sprawling to the canvas!
spankalot is rocked!
It looks like arthur spankalot has been cut.
Paavali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. spankalot swivels though and keeps the full guard.
spankalot is still in real trouble! Can Paavali finish him?
spankalot looking for a sweep. Not yet spankalot, not yet.
Paavali showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Paavali tries to free his leg and advance position but spankalot is retaining full guard.
spankalot seems to have recovered his senses.
spankalot looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Paavali is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

spankalot has a closed guard, preventing Paavali from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

spankalot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pertti Paavali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paavali lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

spankalot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pertti Paavali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of arthur spankalot.
spankalot looks gassed!
Paavali comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Paavali lands a brutal head kick. spankalot looks out on his feet and Paavali throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
