The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Patterson moves away.
Bull lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bull sprawls well. Bull wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet.
Bull throws a right hand that misses
and Patterson counters with a single leg into guard. Bull didn't expect that.
Patterson throws a big elbow that misses.
Bull manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Patterson manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Patterson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bull is defending well. Patterson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bull has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Patterson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
