PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Mellor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mellor has chosen Out Of Control as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins misses with a low kick.
Mellor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Perkins swivels and escapes.

Mellor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Perkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mellor stalks Perkins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Perkins's face. Perkins staggers backwards, shaken.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Perkins enables Mellor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perkins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
