The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Semenov scores with a one two! Beleza had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Semenov as Beleza shoots in.
Jab, jab by Semenov - just one landing.
Semenov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Belezas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Semenov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beleza has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Semenov feints a jab promting Beleza to slip. Semenov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Beleza slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Beleza shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Semenov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Beleza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beleza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Beleza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Beleza is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Semenov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Semenov has escaped and now he's on top!

Beleza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Semenov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
