PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heraldo Magnifico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Nurminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pasi Nurminen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasi Nurminen!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnifico swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Magnifico cracks Nurminen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Magnifico pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pasi Nurminen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magnifico takes a swing at Nurminen's ribcage but misses.
Nurminen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nurminen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Magnifico moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
