Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rocky Joaquin!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Joaquin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Joaquin, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Joaquin against the cage but Joaquin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joaquin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Silva thows a huge punch but Joaquin dodges it nicely.
Joaquin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Joaquin's head.
Silva prevents Joaquin from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joaquin won't allow Silva to pass to mount.
Joaquin wants to get back to his feet.

Silva is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Joaquin to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Joaquin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva postures up in Joaquin's guard and throws a big left but Joaquin blocks it.
Joaquin kicks Silva off and gets to his feet.
Silva fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Joaquin which made him look bad.

Joaquin throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Joaquin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Joaquin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Joaquin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Joaquin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Joaquin wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Joaquin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Joaquin advances position into side control!
Joaquin slows the pace down.
Joaquin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Joaquin is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Joaquin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Joaquin but great work by Silva.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Joaquin throws Silva to one side and escapes!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Joaquin dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Joaquin, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Joaquin against the cage but Joaquin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Some wild striking there from Joaquin.
Silva shoots in but Joaquin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Silva enables Joaquin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Silva is working an open guard so Joaquin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rocky Joaquin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Joaquin sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Joaquin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Silva moves out of range as Joaquin strikes.
Joaquin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Joaquin is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Joaquin has managed to sneak the leg through.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Joaquin in particular looking to stall.

Joaquin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joaquin is trying for a kimura here. Silva looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Joaquin wins by kimura!
