The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joaquin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tarasov.
Tarasov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Joaquin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Joaquin blocks a head kick by Tarasov.
Tarasov tries to bum rush Joaquin with a series of wild strikes but Joaquin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A shot to the liver by Tarasov. Beautiful body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That kick from Tarasov tenderised Joaquin's leg. Joaquin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tarasov connects with a solid leg kick.
Joaquin throws a wild hook but Tarasov just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Joaquin gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Tarasov raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
