Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Kratos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salim Abous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kratos comes to the cage accompanied by Back for more - Five finger death punch. Lewis Kratos could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Salim Abous's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lewis Kratos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Salim Abous!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kratos leaves Abous with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Abous drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Abous prevents Kratos from escaping the position.
Abous scores with a couple of short elbows.

Abous tries to move to mount but Kratos blocks the move with his legs.

Abous connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kratos some visible discomfort.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Abous creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kratos sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Abous lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kratos down.

Abous is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kratos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Abous creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kratos sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kratos is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Abous is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kratos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
