Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Komlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.
Komlev throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Komlev misses with a series of wild punches.
Komlev scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Andre Jones has been cut.
Jones tries to bum rush Komlev with a series of wild strikes but Komlev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Komlev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jones lunges at Komlev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Komlev's hand.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Komlev has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Komlev swinging wildly here.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Komlev.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Komlev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Komlev throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Komlev throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Some wild striking there from Komlev.
Komlev tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Komlev misses with the combination.
Komlev ducks under a wild hook from Jones.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Komlev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Komlev misses with a double jab.
Komlev looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Komlev throws a leg kick but Jones sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jones scores with a punch to the head.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Komlev's defenses.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Komlev slips the punch.
Komlev throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Komlev doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Komlev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Komlev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones connects with a single shot there.
Jones defending well as Komlev loads up on a big left hand.
Jones getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jones takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Komlev misses with a straight left.
Jones cracks Komlev with an open hand slap.
Jones scores with a punch to the head.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Komlev uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jab by Jones.
Jones looks to land a combination. Komlev sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Komlev.
Komlev slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Komlev throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot.
A swing and a miss from Jones.
Jones cracks Komlev with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A head kick misses from Komlev.
Komlev takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Komlev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jones connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Komlev scrambles back to his feet.
Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jones scores with a decent looking hook.
Jones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


Komlev is rocked!
Komlev lands a jab to the head.
Oh Komlev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


That has opened up Andre Jones's cut even more.
Jones clobbers Komlev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
and Jones counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Komlev! He's just covering up as Jones starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Jones!
