The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jurgen clobbers Pavluchenko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jurgen looks to score with a jab to the body but Pavluchenko is just out of range.

Jurgen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Pavluchenko sprawling to the canvas. Jurgen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Pavluchenko hang on?

It looks like Roman Pavluchenko has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jurgen tries to pass to full mount but Pavluchenko defends it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jurgen is trying to control the action in half guard but Pavluchenko is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pavluchenko wants to control but Jurgen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jurgen wants to take a breather but Pavluchenko is having none of it.
Jurgen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jurgen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jurgen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Jurgen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pavluchenko is trying to maintain the position but Jurgen is very close to passing his half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pavluchenko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jurgen.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pavluchenko.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jurgen. Pavluchenko does a little dance to reset his feet.
A big right from Pavluchenko misses.
Jurgen moves in looking to clinch but Pavluchenko pushes him off.
Roman Pavluchenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jurgen misses the shot to the body.

Oooh a lovely combination from Jurgen sends Pavluchenko down but not out. Jurgen dives into side control looking to finish.

Pavluchenko is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jurgen lands a strong strike to the head of Pavluchenko. That's dazed him! Jurgen looking to finish here. Pavluchenko is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jurgen lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
