Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Eminem - Fuck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diaz's guard now.

Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard.

Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.

Johnson has his foot on Diaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diaz works his way back into a safe position though.

Diaz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top!

Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

John Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson looks to land a combination. Diaz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Diaz to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Johnson!

Jon Johnson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
