The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins throws a shot to the body.
Wiggins throws a combination. Payne tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Liam Payne has been cut.
Wiggins jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Payne has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wiggins stalks Payne and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Payne's face. Payne staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Payne creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Wiggins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Payne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Wiggins goes for a takedown attempt but Payne pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Payne takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Payne looks to land a combination but Wiggins avoids it well.
Wiggins uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Payne has time to react.
A jab lands there for Wiggins.

That has opened up Liam Payne's cut even more.
Wiggins lands a nice hook to Payne's body. Payne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wiggins swings for the body but Payne moves out of range.

and Wiggins counters with a nice uppercut.
Wiggins lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Payne ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Liam Payne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Wiggins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Payne is rocked!
Wiggins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Payne is still on wobbly legs! Can Wiggins finish him?
Payne gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Wiggins points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Payne wakes up just in time to hear Wiggins thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
