Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spartacus Gladiator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Vinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis Vinci struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gladiator shoots in but Vinci avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vinci shoots in looking for a takedown. Gladiator tries to sprawl out of it but Vinci keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gladiator manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gladiator has Vinci up against the cage in a clinch.
Gladiator lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Gladiator has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Vinci is trying to keep an underhook but Gladiator manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Gladiator tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vinci knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Vinci wants to improve his position but Gladiator is controlling well.

Vinci pushes Gladiator off looking to stand but Gladiator dives back in and keeps control.
Gladiator throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
