Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barry Dylon! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Proudstar! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dylon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Dylon throws a wild body kick that Proudstar sees coming a mile off. Proudstar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dylon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Proudstar shoots in looking for a takedown. Dylon tries to sprawl out of it but Proudstar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dylon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dylon missing with a left hand there. Proudstar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Proudstar just misses with a punch to the body.

Proudstar instigates a clinch. Proudstar goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dylon prevents it.
Proudstar can't get the takedown.
Barry Dylon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Proudstar. Proudstar looking for a takedown. Dylon prevents the takedown attempt.
Proudstar is leaning against Dylon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Dylon is trying to push Proudstar away but Proudstar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dylon tries to break free but Proudstar pushes him back against the cage. Dylon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Proudstar drags the fight down to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dylon tries to stand but Proudstar is controlling from the bottom. Proudstar has his foot on Dylon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dylon works his way back into a safe position though. Proudstar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dylon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Proudstar is tightening it up a little... Dylon has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dylon reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dylon taps out! Nice BJJ there by Proudstar!

A very excited looking James Proudstar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
