Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Greed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Halloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halloway with a lazy takedown attempt
and Greed counters with a one-two to the body.

Greed fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Halloway to the ground. Greed is now in Halloway's guard.
Greed trying to control the position from guard on top but Halloway is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Halloway wants to get back to his feet but Greed is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Greed throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Greed passes into half guard.
Halloway is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greed wants to lay and pray for a moment but Halloway keeps working.

Greed is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Halloway tries to free his leg and advance position but Greed is retaining full guard.

Halloway changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greed tries to avoid it but Halloway manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greed to the ground. Greed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Greed moves away from the strike by Halloway.

Greed closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Halloway did well to prevent Greed getting side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Halloway closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Greed's guard.
