The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brigante tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finn sizes up Brigante with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Brigante will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Brigante darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Finn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Finn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brigante tries to reverse the position but Finn maintains control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brigante avoids a series of strikes thrown by Finn.
Brigante is trying desperately to improve position.
The referee warns Brigante that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

A very excited looking Mickey Finn rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
