Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Kewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stipe Miocic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stipe Miocic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sonny Kewell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stipe Miocic!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic tries to close the distance and clinch but Kewell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miocic's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kewell under the eye.
Kewell takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Miocic leaves Kewell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kewell enables Miocic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kewell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kewell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miocic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kewell is trying to keep Miocic in close.

Miocic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Miocic wants to pass the guard but Kewell is keeping the position.
Kewell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miocic!
Miocic is looking to improve his position but Kewell isn't that keen on the idea.
Miocic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kewell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

In his post fight interview, Sonny Kewell started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
