The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkulainen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Savage circles away.
Turkulainen misses with a head kick.
Turkulainen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Savage was covering up waiting for the punch and Turkulainen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Savage manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Turkulainen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
No joy there for Savage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turkulainen dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Turkulainen's head and hops out.
Savage misses with a low kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turkulainen keeps control of Savage as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Turkulainen can't find room to land a body shot as Savage controls the action.
Savage has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Turkulainen tries to work over Savage's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Turkulainen is working for takedown but Savage is calmly controlling the position for now.

Savage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Turkulainen has him pressed against the cage.

Turkulainen is breathing heavily.
