The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philips moves in looking to clinch but The Odd Ball pushes him off.
Philips stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Philips wants it to stay on the feet.
The Odd Ball swats away the attempt to clinch by Philips.
The Odd Ball showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Philips.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Philips throws the kick towards the body but The Odd Ball avoids it.

Philips is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The Odd Ball tries for a takedown but Philips manages to get underhooks.
The Odd Ball is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Philips is defending well.
Paul Philips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lady The Odd Ball.
The Odd Ball drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Philips manages to break the clinch.
Philips tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Odd Ball was well out of range. Poor timing from Philips.

Philips cracks The Odd Ball with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Philips.

The fight stays on the outside here - Philips looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Philips fails in his attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Philips's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


No luck for The Odd Ball with that takedown attempt.
Philips doesn't manage to clinch there - The Odd Ball circles away.

and The Odd Ball counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Philips!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
