Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sid Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shannon Khoury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing- Kanye West. Shannon Khoury has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh dives in and scores a takedown into Khoury's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Singh controlling from the top position.
Khoury is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Khoury is working an open guard so Singh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Singh tries to clinch there but Khoury circles away.

Singh takes the fight into the clinch.
Singh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Singh has Khoury pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Khoury manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Khoury manages to break the clinch.
Singh is looking to land body kicks.
Singh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Singh moves into the clinch.
Khoury lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Khoury is pressed up against the cage. Singh has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khoury down to the mat. Khoury avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khoury looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Khoury checks a low kick from Singh.
Khoury keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Decent striking displayed by Khoury there.
Khoury swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Singh.

Singh is rocked!
Khoury drops Singh with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Singh! Khoury dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
