Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mason Prophet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Julstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prophet comes to the cage accompanied by Kamikaze Kush- Nothing To Lose. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kristian Julstrom was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prophet jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fighters circling - Prophet throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Prophet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Julstrom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Julstrom misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Julstrom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Prophet's head.
Prophet fails to land the takedown.
Julstrom tests Prophet's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Prophet missing with a left hand there. Julstrom was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Prophet tries to bum rush Julstrom with a series of wild strikes but Julstrom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Julstrom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prophet pinned against the cage. Prophet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Julstrom scores with a hook to the body. Prophet takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Prophet tries to move into range but Julstrom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Julstrom feints and as Prophet raises his hands in defense, Julstrom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Prophet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Julstrom defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prophet working for submissions but it's allowed Julstrom to get to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Julstrom tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Prophet.

Prophet isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Julstrom stacks Prophet on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Julstrom!

and Prophet counters with a nice low kick that buckles Julstrom's knee momentarily.
Julstrom uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Prophet.
Prophet throws a head kick but Julstrom moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Julstrom lands an impressive looking overhand right. Prophet doesn't seem phased though.
Kristian Julstrom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Prophet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Julstrom lands with a shot to the body.

Julstrom fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Julstrom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Prophet, pushing him back against the cage.
Julstrom misses with a knee to the head.
Prophet is trying to pull guard but Julstrom turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Prophet is working for takedown but Julstrom is calmly controlling the position for now.
Julstrom wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Prophet has him pressed against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Horrible takedown by Prophet or perhaps it was just good defense by Julstrom which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kristian Julstrom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Prophet throws a right and a left that both miss.
Julstrom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prophet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Julstrom somewhat.

Julstrom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prophet tries to avoid it but Julstrom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prophet to the ground. Prophet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Julstrom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prophet sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Prophet is trying to break the clinch but Julstrom is controlling him.

Prophet has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Julstrom after a bit of a struggle.

Prophet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Julstrom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Prophet is fending him off so far but Julstrom persists. Nope, Prophet circles away and we're back to standing.

I've got Julstrom winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
