Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martinez De La Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Beaudoin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaudoin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
De La Vega tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Beaudoin counters by moving into the clinch.

Beaudoin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. De La Vega can't fight it off and eventually Beaudoin manages to take the fight to the floor. De La Vega looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Beaudoin throws a big elbow that misses.
De La Vega is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beaudoin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Beaudoin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
De La Vega looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beaudoin is one step ahead there.

Beaudoin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

De La Vega tries to kick Beaudoin off in order to stand up. Beaudoin Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Beaudoin stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Beaudoin darts in and clinches De La Vega up against the cage.
De La Vega is trying to pull guard but Beaudoin has him pressed against the cage.
De La Vega fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Beaudoin pulls guard effortlessly.

De La Vega avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Beaudoin looking for a triangle here. De La Vega is fighting it but it looks tight! Beaudoin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, De La Vega is tapping out - this one is all over!
